Forest City Land & Water LLC was founded by Michael Tufts on January 1st, 2021 as a complete land management contractor. Based in Cuyahoga County and servicing the entire state of Ohio from Lake Erie to the Ohio River, every project is approached with a focus on conservation and ecological restoration as applicable.

Since 2018, Larry has been designing, establishing, and maintaining habitat changes to properties in 40+ of Ohio's 88 counties, educating property owners on managing properties for diversity and implementing customized plans to benefit wildlife of all kinds. His changes improve biodiversity of both plants and animals, with tangible, visible results year after year.

Ben spent 8 years with the Ohio Department of Forestry before starting his own company in 2023. He has fought wildfires in 8+ states in the western US, has a forestry degree from The Ohio State University, and a great deal of experience managing wooded properties for premier timber development while ensuring beneficial changes for wildlife in the process.

Alex holds a degree in environmental engineering from The Ohio State University, and is working as a civil engineer for a private engineering firm. In 2023, Alex and Ben acquired a portable bandsaw mill. They have been milling dimensional lumber from trees salvaged from all over the state. Primary use of the wood will be for constructing barns and buildings on homesteads, as well as marketing dried boards and slabs to woodworkers who want to work with high-quality, sustainably sourced products from right here in Ohio.

Holding a degree from Ohio University and possibly the most passionate outdoorsman I've met, Keith has spent more hours and miles in the field studying wildlife activity through his pursuit of deer and turkey as a hunter than most people spend outdoors in a lifetime. With a degree from Ohio University, Keith's media company has expanded beyond land management educational content creation to design and implementation as well.

Anthony holds a degree from The Ohio State University in Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife. One of the most handy individuals you'll meet and wealth of knowledge in just about any subject, he is a valuable asset for technical jobs that require creative solutions, from erosion control on sloped trails for public school, to backyard landscape design and more, Anthony brings a diversity of experiences to every project.

Kyle has been single-handedly battling invasive brush with his forestry mulcher for several years, reverting neglected, overgrown properties and woodlots into useable areas, often re-vegetating his clearing work with pollinator plots, food plots for deer, and fruit tree orchards. Kyle also has two highly advanced sprayer drones that offer a cutting-edge targeting capabilities for invasive vegetation and can handle any terrain or any scale. Drone herbicide control is the future of safe and efficient application for large or small scale invasive vegetation remediation.

Antonio holds a degree in Environmental Science specializing in Ecosystem Restoration from The Ohio State University. With his incredible understanding of what native plants do for our environment and how each species will perform in any condition, he provides fully-tailored (and fully-native) landscaping services, as well as wilder projects like pollinator plots and forestry/habitat management. Antonio started his business with the intent to restore native ecosystems to areas where they are in decline or neglect. From converting residential lawns to beneficial gardens to partnering with townships and universities on their properties, he's on a mission we can all get behind.
