This 15 foot long slab was milled from a standing dead ash tree in Fairfield County, OH in August 2023. With no leaves on the tree for 2 consecutive years and surrounding canopy closing in, the 100+ foot tree was felled, and the slabs were milled in 2024.

The Results of Our Management Practices

We have meticulously managed several properties, from 7 acres to hundreds of acres, with the intent to provide better habitat for a wide range of wildlife species and the results have spoken for themselves. With dedication and regular maintenance, the changes to the layout and contents of these properties have produced better deer and turkey numbers, larger, more mature bucks, and an increase in the presence of rabbit, pheasant, and other species.
