Sugar Maple

All slabs are rough cut with chainsaw or bandsaw mill, air and kiln-dried, and run through a bug-kill cycle. Slabs are not planed or sanded at this time but those services will be available in the future. Slabs can be cut to length if requested, after purchasing the full slab. All live edge slabs are dried to a maximum moisture content of 15% or lower.

The Results of Our Management Practices

We have meticulously managed several properties, from 7 acres to hundreds of acres, with the intent to provide better habitat for a wide range of wildlife species and the results have spoken for themselves. With dedication and regular maintenance, the changes to the layout and contents of these properties have produced better deer and turkey numbers, larger, more mature bucks, and an increase in the presence of rabbit, pheasant, and other species.
